Santa....Not So Bad

Tonight was the Kids Christmas Party at my office. We had a BUNCH of kiddos running around. It seemed like most of them were between the ages of 2 and 3. It was a little crazy there for a while. Santa made his appearance. Only a couple of the kids cried. One little guy was so tough...he was all about seeing Santa...until it was his turn. Then he just lost it. He cried and cried.

Ian, on the other hand, hopped up on Santa's lap and gave him one of those "what's up with you" looks. He couldn't quite figure out Santa's big beard. But, he didn't cry and he did give Santa a hug. No big smiley pictures like last year, but still a couple of good ones.

Can't wait until next year to see what it will be like with our 2 little munchkins running around. I've always loved the Christmas season, but it's truly amazing when you see everything through your child's eyes. Ian is really enjoying all of the lights, Christmas trees, wreaths and nativity scenes. I'm looking forward to the day when he understands the real meaning of Christmas.

Tomorrow night is Parents Night Out at our church. Woo, hoo....a date night for mommy and daddy. The kids are having a birthday party for Jesus. That sounds like fun. Ian always has such fun playing with his friends at church.

The pictures are from tonight's party. Enjoy.
